“Najaf Hosts the Second Najaf-Erbil Dialogue”
Dr. Anwer Abubakr Jaff, Head of the Cultural and Research Activities Committee of the Faculty of Law, presented a study titled “The Agreement and Disagreement Between Kurdish and Shiite Political Parties on the Constitution and Iraq’s Future” at the second Najaf-Erbil Dialogue held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, in Najaf.
The event, organized in collaboration with Rudaw Research Center, Al-Naba Forum for Dialogue, Aram Sin Foundation for Dialogue and Development, and Riwaq Baghdad, gathered 25 researchers from Kurdistan and Iraq to discuss ways to strengthen Kurdish-Shiite relations and promote national cooperation.

لە کۆتایيدا ڕاسپاردەکانی کۆنفرانس پێشکەش بە لایەنە پەیوەندیدارەکان کرا

On Dec.1,2024, a staff of the academists of Sulaiamny University College of law actively took part at the fifth international legal conference held by the legal research center of Kurdistan Regional Government Ministry of Justice which was held under the slogan (The Interdisciplinary Researching as the modern facet of legal research sphere).It is worth mentioning that the center is administered by a member of law college staff Professor Dr. Mohamad Sulaiman Al Ahmad. Knowingly,  more than hundred research papers had been submitted to the conference  from different Iraqi academic institutions and from abroad alike, such as Canada,China,France,United Arab Emirates,Oman Kingdom, Jordan, Egypt, Algeria, Palestine, Lebanon).

The form of their participation was as follows :

1-Prof. Dr.Dana Abdulkarim Saeed headed the seventh panel of the conference.

2-Prof. Dr. Mohammad Rasheed Hasan jointly with the assistant teacher Muhammad Nassih Ameen ,presented a research paper titled (The Legal Governance of the collective Memory : The Problem of Antagonism of the Legal and Historical Methodologies).

3-Asst. prof. Dr.Baxtyar Sadiq Raheem jointly with the Professor Abdullah Fazil Hamid presented a research paper titled ( The Relationship between the Economic Factor and the development of the rules of conflicting of laws )

4-Asst. prof. Dr Mustafa Rasool Hussein whose research paper was titled (The foundation of the Responsibility stemming from the conversion to the digitality).

5-Dr. Hiwa Ali Hussein presented a legal research paper titled (The Bonds of Relationship between the Civil Law and Commercial Law on the levels of Interaction ,Distinction and their prospected Joint Development)

At the end, the Conference was sealed  by the potential  recommendations and findings .
